The Teacher Behind the Blueprint
I’ve spent the past 20 years in the classroom, helping more than 1,200 students from around the world find their voice and tell their stories. While in undergraduate school, I double majored in English and Creative Arts. After graduation, I taught at two different schools in Brest, France. When I returned to California, I worked as a graphic designer for the oldest and largest dental marketing and growth management agency in the world.
I earned my Masters in English Language & Literature from George Washington University where I supported undergraduate and graduate students in crafting Masters theses, dissertations, and creative writing projects. After graduate school I returned to the Bay Area and have taught students in Richmond, San Francisco, and Marin County. I am currently a high school English teacher at an independent school with an international boarding program in Marin.
I’ve taken two decades of classroom-tested pedagogy and professional development, and I have translated it into a structured, results-driven step-by-step college essay support system for the Common App essay. My goal is simple: replace guesswork with a clear path to an essay that is authentic, complete, and genuinely reflects the student behind the application.
I live in San Anselmo with my wife and three children.
